The Lifeword Christian Academy is a realization of God’s instruction for an Education Ministry that attends to children and families – a ministry that raises arrows in God’s quiver. The LCA was commissioned on Saturday the 22nd of September 2008 by Pastor Samuel Owoyemi of the Living Faith Church in Offa. The Christian school opened to students on the Monday 24th September 2008.
We excitedly welcomed 7 (seven) students at the onset. The names of the pioneering students were: Adeoluwakani Olubanjo, Ayooluwakani Olubanjo, Adeniyi Adedoyin, Sharon Adedoyin, Dotun Adedoyin, Esther Opaleye, Emmanuel Opaleye and Great Olayiwola. The school started with the class range of Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 2. LCA was pioneered by 4 (four) awesomely committed staff: Miss Christianah Ayandele, Mrs. Funmi Obayomi, Mrs. Brigette Bamigboye and Miss Esther Opabisi.
